Our Staff

Dawn Baker (Director): Ms Dawn has been teaching for 35 years and studied at Towson University.  She has been at WEE for 20 years teaching 3’s and Pre-K students before becoming the director.  Ms Dawn loves to do art! She loves to paint, play, and learn new things.  She enjoys spending time with her husband, and going to the movies and flea markets.

Jane Del Gavio (Administrative Assistant): Ms Jane studied Business Administration, has taught for over 10 years, and has been at WEE for 20 years.  Her son is a graduate of the WEE school.  When she is not at school Ms Jane loves to sit on her back porch with her husband listening to beach music.  She also loves ladybugs and reading.

Our Teachers

Bev Cvach: Ms Bev received her BS in Special Education/Elementary Education from the University of Maryland College Park.  In addition, she earned her 90 hour Early Childhood Education and 45 hour Infant & Toddler credentials.  In her down time, Ms Bev enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, and working outside.  She also watches her grandchildren while not at WEE.  Ms Bev’s children and one grandchild (so far) are graduates of the WEE school.

Elise DeFilippis: Ms Elise received her Bachelor Degree in Social Work and her MS in Human Service Management in Special Education from Western Maryland College (now McDaniel College), as well as her 90 hour Early Childhood Education certificate .  She has been teaching for nine years-four of which have been at WEE.  When not at WEE Ms Elise enjoys spending time with her husband and two children (both WEE graduates), going to the beach, hiking, supporting children with Autism, reading, and travelling.

Barbara L. Gross:  Ms Barb attended CCBC for her Early Childhood Education Degree and continues to take classes.  She has been teaching at WEE for 27 years and her children are graduates of the school.  When not at WEE Ms Barb loves to be at home with her boyfriend and family.  She also loves to garden and read.

Robin Jadra: Ms Robin Has been teaching for 20 years and has been at WEE for two years.  She has earned her 90 hour Early Childhood Education credentials.  In her downtime Ms Robin loves spending time with her children, reading, crafting, and thinking about vacation spots.

Marsha Kotzum: Ms Marsha has been teaching at WEE for 24 years-20 of which have been at WEE.  Her son is a WEE school graduate.  Ms Marsha received her Bachelor Degree in History from the University of Baltimore and her teaching certificate from the College of Notre Dame.  Ms Marsha loves to travel to the beach with her family, reading, and cooking.

Jenyfer Krauss: Ms Jenyfer received her BA Degree from Goucher College and has taken some Masters level classes at Towson University.  In her spare time Ms Jenyfer likes to dance, read, cuddle with her dogs, and to go to the beach.

Karen Mann: Ms Karen received her BS Degree in Criminology from the University of Maryland College Park, her 90 hour Early Childhood Education certificate from Loyola University, and her 45 hour Infant & Toddler certificate from CCBC.  Ms Karen has been teaching for 29 years-25 of which have been at WEE.  Her children are also graduates of the WEE School.  When she is not at WEE Ms Karen enjoys being with her family, watching her grandchildren, and going to the beach.

Sabira Nadeem: Ms Sabira has her Bachelor and Master Degrees in Education. and has her Montessori certificate.  During her leisure time Ms Sabira enjoys spending time with her children, helping them study, and reading.

Claire Nolan: Ms Claire has been teaching for 35 years-28 of which have been spent at WEE.  She obtained her Bachelors of Science Degree in Early/Elementary Education from Towson University.  When not at WEE Ms Claire enjoys quilting, scrapbooking, and being at home-her husband is renovating their house room by room.  She and her husband love to spend time with their three married children (all of which are WEE graduates).  They all live in three different states so Ms Claire and her husband have several vacation options.

Angela Peterson: Ms Angela has been teaching for 13 years and has been at WEE for 5 years.  She received her BA in Psychology (emphasis on Child Psychology) and completed elementary education coursework at Mary Baldwin University.  She enjoys spending time with her two children (one of which is a WEE graduate).  She is actively involved in the children’s ministries at her church, volunteers with the PTA at her daughters school, enjoys reading, and loves to watch movies with her family.
